 Linda,
Thanks for the response. I just recently opened up my family tree onAncestry, called Wenzlaff Family Tree, so please check there for whatI have. I'm trying to keep that tree for only cited/confirmedreferences. Your findagrave post for Mary LeFeber opened up a newline for me - always a pleasent surprise!
I have more questions than answers. David Oliver Carpenter, Ibelieve, was the son of Henry Carpenter and his second wife Mary Long(married 1831). Henry's first wife, but not confirmed, was MaryPolly Oliver (long story). However, I am not sure why David Oliver'snamesake would be for his dad's first wife?? I suspect the marriagedate to Mary Long may be wrong and maybe Mary Polly Oliver died inchildbirth or shortly after. Henry also named an older son PeterOliver Carpenter. This leads me to Mary's name - I saw reference toOlive and Oliver - can you confirm?
I also wonder what happend to David Oliver and his wife Leanna.Obviously David died young, but I have not seen any records for LeannaTrue and what happened to her.
