He married Cornelia Frances Davis,Daughter of Henry Peg and Elizabeth Lyons (Berry) Davis, Sept. 20,1871, at Marion, IA; she was born in Linn COunty, Ia, June 5, 1850.
 He resided at different times at Hopkinton, St. Lawrence County, N.Y.,Waverly, Bristow and Anemosa, Ia. He was a harness maker, but is now(1913) retired and lives with his son at Waterloo, Ia.
