Notes
a. Note:   N125 From Tucky:
I remember that Geertje's parents married late and had children later than most of the other pairings on the tree. There's no record of previous marriages for either of them; they just found each other later than most. You have her dad being 45 when she was born which is about what I remember. According to the Frisian civil records (Tresoar) Geertje had 3 siblings; two of them died as infants/children. The 3 sib was a sister who died at 18 when Geertje was about 14 (I think). So Geertje ended up as an only child of elderly parents.  She had her first daughter , Janneke, when she was 17? 18?, 2-3 years before she married Harmen Hendriks when she was 4 months pregnant with their son (whose name I can't remember but who was probably Hendrik Harmens). That 1st daughter disappears from the civil records (Tresoar)---no death date nor marriage date given as I recall, but her name (slightly changed) was used for Geertje and Harmen's 2nd child (Janna).  Families often did not let a good name go to waste. If a child with that name died young, they used the name for the next kid born. Geertje also used her mom's name, again slightly changed, for Janke even though Janke's much older sister Janna was still living. I believe that Janna became the "Aunt Jane" that Gertie corresponded with for a time and spoke of. [Aunt Jane was Peter’s wife.]
