Herkimer-Ilion-Mohawk-Frankfort, NY December 28, 1961 Mrs. Stilson Dies; Lifelong Ilionite
Ilion-Mrs. Emma A. Stilson, 86, of 55 Central Avenue, a lifelong resident here, died yesterday in Utica hospital.
Born Aug. 12, 1875, a daughter of Rachael Louilee Paschke, she was married to Arthur Stilson on Sept. 18, 1910, in Ilion. He died last Jan. 29.
Mrs. Stilson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Women's Auxilliary of the Herkimer County Firemen's Association.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Thelma) Stasco, of Ilion; three sisters, Mrs. Rachael Smaltz and Mrs. Clara Morgan, both of Ilion, Mrs. Frances Robinton of New York; two borthers, Fred Paschke Sr. of Ilion and Albert Paschke of Mohawk.
Rev. Maurice Mitchell of First Presbyterian Church will conduct services 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the App.egate Funeral Home, with burial in Armory Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
Note: Mr. Stilson's obituary lists their marriage as: Sept. 18, 1909 in Massachusetts.
