a. Note:   FAMILY TRADITION - Wm. Riley was supposedly killed by 'bushwhackers' during the Civil War somewhere in LA. Reported to have owned a large track of land in Louisiana - Parish not known
  SUPPOSITIONS Believe family was in Bienville Parish in 1860 but the census for that Parish is missing. A 'Widow Jordan' is on the Federal Tax list for that Parish following Civil War
  I have checked all the 1860 Census Rcds of the NW Parishes of LA - have not located the family.
