a. Note:   Sarah went by her middle name, Elizabeth. It appears on almost every document this way.
  From the Wilkes-Barre Semi-Weekly Record, Friday, 19 June 1903, page 7:
"Mrs. Frank (sic) Zimmerman of Plymouth Township died suddenly last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Brown of Plymouth. Deceased was taken to the City Hospital two weeks ago and left that institution yesterday afternoon against the advice of the physician and went to Plymouth. She had just entered the house and asked for a chair, which was given her, when she gasped and expired. She was 57 years of age and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. F. Brown and Mrs. Elmer Rinus; also five sons, George, John, Nathan, Fred and Perry. Deputy Coroner O'Donnell was notified and an inquest will be held."
From the Wilkes-Barre Record (Plymouth section), Thursday, 18 June 1903, page 13:
