a. Note:   From the Wilkes-Barre Times, 17 August 1905, page 8:
  "The house of John Zimmerman on the mountain road was broken into recently, but nothing of much value was taken."
  From the Wilkes-Barre Record, Saturday, 19 November 1927:
 John Zimmerman, aged 45, died yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the family home, Mountain Road, Larksville, following an illness of myocarditis. Deceased was born and resided all his life in Larksville. He was well known and highly esteemed by a large followiing of friends. He is survived by his wife and the following children: William J. Zimmerman, Henry Zimmerman, Luzerne; John Zimmerman, Larksville; Mrs. Stewart VanWhy, Trucksville; Herbert Zimmerman, George Zimmerman and Leona Zimmerman, at home. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Elmer Rinus, Trucksville; Mrs. Frank Brown, Fred Zimmerman, George Zimmerman and Nathan Zimmerman, Larksville. The funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with services conducted at the home of his brother-in-law, John Davison, Mountain Road, Larksville by Reverend Thomas A. Clemow. Interment will be in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery.

 "The funeral of John Zimmerman was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock with services conducted at the home of his brother-in-law, John Davidson, Mountain Road, Larksville. The services were conducted by Thomas A. Clemow and attended by scores of sorrowing friends and relatives. Deceased was a well known resident of Larksville and his popularity was attested by the presence of many pretty floral offerings. Pall bearers were David Warman, Jacob Warman, George Gregory, Albert Andrews, Alex Gregory and Clarence Sims."
  The funeral cost was $271.00.
