Note: From the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, 28 September 1909, page 18: "There are several cases of typhoid fever in Plymouth Township. Mr. and Mrs. John Worman, Samuel Miller and William, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Nate Zimmerman of the Mountain Road back of the D. and H. No. 4 dam, are ill with the malady and are under the care of Dr. D. H. Lockard. The health authorities of the township are investigating the source of the disease and are doing everything possible to stamp it out." William was a life resident of Larksville, PA and had been employed at the Lance Colliery of the Glen Alden Coal Company. He never married.
