a. Note:   N72 Services for Ora Belle Deibel, 75, who died Monday, September 8 at Fitzgibbon Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Braun Funeral Home. The Rev. Vernon Maxted of Marshall officiated. Burial was in the Slater Ciy Cemetery.
 Barbara Gerhard, organist, played "How Great Thou Art." Pallbearers were W.W. Sterrett, William Garnett, Leland Harris, George Jett, Percy Johnson and Bill Glenn.
 Born February 4, 1905 near Slater, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Mollie Elizabeth Carr Deibel. She spent her entire life in the Slater area and attended the Slater schools. She joined the Bethel Baptist Church and held her membership there until she moved to Marshall and then transferred it to the First Baptist Church of Marshall. She retired from the Marshall State School and Hospital after many years of service. She later worked there under the Foster Grandparents program.
 Survivors include two brothers, Lewis Deibel of Slater and Charles Deibel of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Ola Jones of Marshall and Lucile Smith of Slater.
