a.	Note: N277 According to a family member of Bethsaida McLaughlin Scott who talked to Sam Perkins in 1939. Sam first saw the McLaughlin's at Pin Hook Ford on Muddy Creek. William was an itinerant basket maker as one means of Livelihood. He traveled from one place to another in a wagon and would either camp or rent a small house and supply the neighborhood with baskets and then move on. At this time Sidie and Saida were babies. Dr. Dent in Mercer County, MO was the attending physician when Sidie and Saida were born.
