McCormick, 77, of Crawfordsville died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday (June 12, 1966) at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. She had been ill six weeks. She was born Feb. 13, 1889 at Crawfordsville, the daughter of Mave [Abraham N.] and Sarah Hubbard Campbell. She was married in 1905 to William C. Pettit at Crawfordsville, who preceded her in death. She married Robert McCormick on Dec. 24, 1938 in Crawfordsville. He died in 1953. Mrs. McCormick was a life resident of Crawfordsville. Surviving are three sons, Gordon Pettit of Waveland Route 1, Theodore Pettit of Waynetown Route 1, and Austin G. Pettit of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Clara Kappen of Lafayette; two granddaughters and two grandsons, and several great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown.
