Walter Chesley Harvey, Jr. married Hazel Lucille Lund June 4, 1932 at St. James Episcopal Church, Milwaukee, WI.
Walter and Hazel had two children, Nels Walter (myself), born September 23, 1933, and Phyllis Lucille, born July 16, 1938.
Walter worked as a printer at Wisconsin Cuneo Press and worked his way up to Production Manager in Milwaukee. He was transferred to the Philadelphia Cuneo plant in 1953, where worked for about 3 years before accepting a position with Roger Kellogg Publisher's Printing Inc. in Long Island City, New York. He retired as Plant Manager there in 1969, at 60 years of age, and ultimately moved to Sebring Florida with Hazel. They enjoyed 10 years there before my Mother's health failed. Hazel died on March 10, 1985 of a brain tumor after moving back to Holland, Buck's County, PA. Walter died as a result of a traffic crash, one month after his 79th birthday. Both were cremated, and interred at The Church of the Redemption Episcopal Church, Southampton, PA.
