a. Note:   A web posting says that Thomas Nesbit came to the Richland Creek area, Monroe County, Indiana, in 1824, and his family came the following year. Also that other families from Nicholas County, Kentucky came in the 1820's: Byers, Hall, Foster, Rice, Livingston, Abram, and Ranard (the later one of the Huguenot famliies that came to Manakin Town, Virginian in 1700).
 The home of Thomas Nesbit said to be across the street in front of the Richland Church. Christian Church. Said built in 1846.
