 There is a Georg Wilhelm Oberheid listed in the IGI Record as born 19 Feb 1855
 Civil record, Duesseldorf, Rheinland, Preussen. His parents are list
 Father: Wilhelm Oberheid, Mother: Christina Haack. Source Information is from LDS - Call No. 0937461. This could be the correct George as his birth date on the IL Census 1900 is Feb. 1855.
  The Death Certificate of George Oberholdt may be for George Oberheide. The address is 656 N. Paulina St which is also on the 1900 Census. So this is the correct George.
 He is buried in Concordia Cemetery in the poor section. He was 49 when he died of carcinoma of the stomach. He lived in Chicago 24 years, therefore he arrived in Chicago 1881 at the age of 25. He was born in Germany February 1855.
 He was a Day Laborer. Info from 1900 Census. He lived at 656 N. Paulina St. Ward 16 and is listed as married. The 1900 Census lists George & Carolina married for 24 years, therefore, they were married in 1876 in Germany, probably Hanover. This is yet to be verified.
 All the above information seems to indicate that this is the George that was married to Carolina Meyer. Two (2) spellings of Meier & Meyer show up.
 Carolina purchased the plots in Concordia Cemetery with Mrs. H. Eads as the beneficiary. Mrs. H. Eads is Louise Oberheide Poltrock's oldest daughter, Edna.
 Caroline Oberheide Weiss born in 1876 in Hanover, Germany is listed in 1920 Census as emigrating to USA in 1881.
