a. Note:   ELIZABETH ROTHGEB RUPE
  Mrs Betsey Rupe, of near Kyger, died Wednesday and was buried today, Friday. She was
 aged 84 years and left several children, among them Jont, Joseph, Jacob, Perry and
 others. Her husband, Wash Rupe, died two or three years ago. She was a fine old lady,
 well liked by every one. (This obit was in the March 4, 1898 Gallipolis Daily Tribune)
