Notes

Note: Frederick's father abandoned the family and moved to Nebraska. He was told by his mother that his father was dead, although he knew better, but never spoke of him because it upset his mother. He moved to Michigan during the big lumbering era and got a job near Johannesburg/Vanderbilt area, then Antrim County. He was a good carpenter, as well as a farmer.
