Note: Everyone knew him as Harry. He loved to hunt and fish. Was an insurance salesman, Maine guide, and for many years until retirement managed the sports department of W. B. Arnolds Store in Waterville. Had 2 wives before he married Irene. He divorced his first wife. His second wife, May, died of drowning when she and another women went through the ice in their vehicle while following their husbands in a separate vehicle during an outing on Snow Pond (Messalonski Lake) in Oakland, ME. Harry had no children of his own but was a devoted stepfather to Owen Fenderson, Irene's youngest son.
