Note: N15 There is an Absalom Roberson in the 1847 Van Buren County, Iowa Census (4 in household). So the thought is that the family moved there sometime after Absalom and Susanna’s marriage in August of 1846. Some questions arise about this date as their son ( Simeon) lists his date of birth in the 1900 census as...October, 1844. Hmm?

1860 census for Vernon Township, Van Buren county, Iowa lists Abalon Robinson age 44 Farmer b. Penn, susan age 50 (?) b. Penn, Jacob Hawk age 90 b. Penn, Sarah Hawk age 55 b. Penn, Sam’l O’Hara age 20 b. Ohio and Simian Walter age15 b. Ohio
I am presuming that Jacob Hawk was Susanna’s father and Sarah Hawk was her sister.
1870 census for Vernon township, Van Buren county, Iowa lists Abalom Robinson age 55 Farmer b. Pennsylvnia, Susanna, age 60 Keeping house, b. Pennsylvania and F. O’H. age 12 Attending School b. Iowa. (F. O’H. is Florinida O’Hara, daughter of Harrison and Orlena Park) Orlena died in childbirth in 1858 and Harrison died in the Civil War in 1863.
