  NATHANIEL ANDERSON OBITUARY, The West Union Scion, Thursday, January 25, 1894
 The remains of Nathaniel Anderson were buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery on Sunday. He died at Athens on Thursday. He was in his 82nd year and for more than forty years was a resident of Monroe Township. He leaves a family of grown children, among whom were George Anderson, of Sprigg Township, and Mrs. L. M. Compton of this place.
