  There are now two of us searching for Robert Puckett in Fluvanna Co VA. Our relative Jane Puckett married Hiram A Dawson in Fluvanna 23 Mar 18l3. On the marriage bond it states Jane as the daughter of Robert Puckett of Fluvanna. I don't believe he is alive at this time, the bond signed by William Price, Robert Anderson and Hiram A Dawson. Robert Anderson married Rachel Puckett 4 Sept 1808 and William Price married Hiram' sister. Also Sally Puckett married Edmond Slaughter 29 Dec 1810. Stephen Puckett married Polly Moore 6 Nov 1801. I believe these are all children of Robert.
  Robert Puckett is listed on the census of 1782 with 7 whites and no blacks. He is listed again on tax list in 1787 with 3 horses, no sons ages 16 to 23. Jane or Virginia Jane Puckett was born 1795 so he was still alive at that time. I've had someone look for info on him in Fluvanna with no luck. Irene Dawson
