Note:   His signature on his marriage record is the same as the signature on the admon of Henry Williams of Bont Newydd when he accompanies Robert Thomas, the nephew of Henry Williams in 1831 (before Robert married and so before any likely relationship to Ty Wian on his wife's side). I am taking this as sufficient, combined with Ann Parry's assertion that her mother (Ann Thomas, Robert's daughter) was a cousin of John Thomas, Ty Wian (Evan's son), to establish that Evan and Robert were brothers in law.
