 PLAC MichiganAs told by Erma (Seaman) Rydman "My sister Myrtle went to live with Dad's mother on Magrudder Road when she was about 11 years old. We lived about 1-1/2 miles from her and all attended
 Lumin School right next to Grandma's place. I was fascinated by her big old rambling two story house with a winding stairway and shiny polished woodwork. There also was a big parlor room used for
 special occasions that was carpeted and closed up. I'd peep in there whenever I could. There was a porch across the front of the house and down the south side, also lots of big shade trees all
 around the house. We played on the porch and around the other farm buildings. Grandma had a big flower garden along with her vegetable garden. Grandpa was dead and Grandma lived by herself. "
 Johanna died at her son George's home in Coleman.
