Their conclusion is that that branch descends from John Oliver, son of George Oliver and Jemima Reagan.

 p. 239 Rockingham Court appoints Martha Oliver, wife of the deceased George Oliver adminstrator of his estate in Nov. 1786
 p. 241 Abraham Oliver, son of Martha Oliver - 5 Mar 1814 deed from Isaac Oliver & Jesse Oliver & Enoch Axton for Sarah Oliver for 30 acres of land in Rockingham Co, NC which Martha purchased from John Ford in 1799 and that the 3 Oliver men had inherited upon her death.
 p. 242 states the 1790 census shows her with 9 children, 4 of her own........and it states she left a will naming them as Abraham, Jessie, Isaac, Sarah but that the will was never found.
