Note: Some postings suggest he moved to Casey Co, KY and then died in 1871 in Boone Co, MO but I have seen no sources to document these. "Sketches of the Olivers, A Family History 1726 to 1966, First Permanent Settelrs of Cades Cove 1821" by H R & M.T. Oliver 1978. Self publshed but available from Mrs. Oliver by mail order focuses on the Olivers of Cades Cove, TN. Their conclusion is that that branch descends from John Oliver, son of George Oliver and Jemima Reagan. p. 236 marriage to Martha Withworth 31 Jan 1772 in Guilford Co, NC p. 239 Rockingham Court appoints Martha Oliver, wife of the deceased George Oliver adminstrator of his estate in Nov. 1786 p. 241 Abraham Oliver, son of Martha Oliver - 5 Mar 1814 deed from Isaac Oliver & Jesse Oliver and others for 30 acres of land in Rockingham Co, NC which Martha purchased from John Ford in 1799 and that the 3 Oliver men had inherited upon her death. p. 252 he sold his land to his brothers James and Abraham in 1816 p. 252 They quote Oliver William Liehard for stating that Isaac moved to IN where Peggy died of typhoid fever with 10 children and then he moved to Casey Co, KY where he married Mary "Polly" Downey. (although they could have had 10 children from 1806 to 1819, I find this a bit hard to believe considering there are still 9 children in the Casey Co census of 1820). p. 255 They state that both his brothers James and Abraham moved to IN so it wouldn't be unreasonable that he did too. p. 255 They quote "History of Boone County of 1882" for his death date of 16 August 1871.
