Note: The children ascribed to this William Oliver, son of George Oliver of Rockingham Co, NC are based on
a descendant of the son William matching the descendants of other sons of Geroge Olive with Y DNA. The siblings are because they were living next to or near him in Hardin Co, KY.
Note that "Sketches of the Olivers....." states that Jesse had children who moved to Hardin Co, KY also.
"Sketches of the Olivers, A Family History 1726 to 1966, First Permanent Settelrs of Cades Cove 1821" by H R & M.T. Oliver 1978. Self publshed but available from Mrs. Oliver by mail order focuses on the Olivers of Cades Cove, TN.
p. 244 names him in the division of the estate of George Oliver in Aug 1800 in the Rockingham Co, NC court
p. 244 later mentions a deed that sold 230 acres of land owned by Abraham, Peter, Jesse and James through their father George Oliver in 1818 but recorded until Dec 1824
