  Note that on Jan. 1, 1814 a William Shepherd married a Jane Oliver in
 Baldwin Co. GA and in 1822 a Charles A. L. Oliver married Eliza Cushing.
 Jane Oliver (May 2, 1800-Jan. 20,1879) & William Sheppard were living
 in Harris Co. GA by 1824 when their son John Harris Sheppard was born
 but both died in Barbour Co. GA. Was she the sister of Charles A. L.
 Oliver and this William Shepherd Oliver was named after his
 brother-in-law?
  father was in 1830 census in Bulloch County but in Ware County, GA in
 1840 census
  Charles and Mary and their family are listed as living in Ware County, GA
