See the Light Green Group in the Oliver Y DNA Project at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gaoliver/OliverGreenLines.html __________ It is possible that his father is Daniel Oliver born 1775 In Worchester Co, MA who reportedly had a son named Philander born 1805 in Canada and an older son Daniel Pomeroy Oliver in VT, but I think it is more likely his father was Clark Oliver, brother of Daniel Oliver, Sr. because Leonard had a son named Clark. LAND (found by Sheila Schmutz on Feb. 4, 2010 on microfiche in the Saskatoon Public Library Genealogy section) Leonard Oliver, no residence stated, bought the title from the Canada Company (CC) For S 1/2 4 (South half of Lot 4) in the 7th Concession by sale (S) on 9 Oct 1835. Note that date ID 5 means the sale involves the Canada Company. This was in Series B3 (Registers and Deed Books, Volume 25, p. 225. This is on MS 729 Reel 2. Note that the Canada Company sold, leased, or granted land that was held by the government of Canada.
