a. Note:   In the 1870 Census for New York City, there is a William Oldfied, age 14 living at the Church Charity Foundation of Long Island orphanage. Highly suspect this is William Oldfield, future spouse of Lizzie Moody.
 William's mother died in childbirth, in 1869. William's father shows a new family in 1880, with first child from second wife born about 1870.
