THIS IS FIRST INSTANCE OF ELIZA SHOWN AS ELISABETHEmily's half sister, Minnie Augusta, also married a Luxon in1889 just one year before Emily died.According to the obit for Henry Luxon They moved to North Dakotain 1888, so best guess is married Emily in Ontario. Nov, 1880.and 2nd wife , Julie Ann Logan on Apr 8, 1891. Obit lists 3children, Mabel ( Clarence Perry) , John and William.Mabelmarried in Duluth, July 6, 1910 according to Sophia's scrapbook.See what a treasure it is!++++++++++++Sandy,I talked to my 93 years young aunt and she remembers whereWilliamThomas family lived and I have found it on an old map. Willscan it toyou later. She did not know them personally as they were olderthanshe. She did know the Luxon's and did not know that they wererelated.It gave her something to think about, so she may have some moreinformation for me. She lives in ND. I am in NE.Of the Luxon's, the father was Henry and three children wereJohn, Willyand Mabel.Ella V. Thomas married Louis McFadden, my great uncle, on the 18Jan1897 in Cavalier ND. Witnesses were Irwin McFadden, a brotherand FannyMcFadden, a cousin. Ella was born May 24, 1875 and died July10, 1897in childbirth. She and the baby are buried in Bruce Cemetery,ruralNeche, ND. That may be the cemetery that William Thomas is. Iwillcheck when I visit there later this summer.There was an Ettie Thomas (misprint?) in a history book of thearea,that was a bridesmaid for Mary Symington and Alex Duncan.I hope this is of some help to you.
