a. Note:   October 1 1882 the Neely's buried 3 children on James Neely's ranch on Jump Off Joe creek in Josephine Co. Oregon. The children had died from diptheria. After their burial Lizzie took her baby in her arms and rode a horse from Josephine Co. to Lane county and never went back to that area, sadly 3 years later the little baby son died at Mapleton.
