Note: The Kennerlys had a stage stop and hotel in Leaburg, Oregon. It was nicknamed "Jim Town" after James Kennerly. "Emmy" was noted for her cooking and hospitality. They donated property for the Leaburg School. They had other enterprises as a Shake Mill. They had one of the first automobiles on the McKenzie river. My grandfather Rube Montgomery met my Grandmother Daisy Lane as she worked in the hotel dining room for her aunt "Emmy". When Ervin died he was buried first at the Camp Creek Cemetery and many years later his body was moved to the Greenwood cemetery at Leaburg so that they could be buried together.
