The first of the Watson boys to join the Confederacy. He joined the 25th
Brigade, Texas State Trooper's, in Mar 1861, in Burleson Co., TX. Died
in Columbus, MS while serving the Confederacy.
Deed book of Burleson Co., TX dated 29 Mar 1902, 589, In sworn statement
of Elizabeth Bensen, she stated her brother Thomas died unmarried.
