  Confirmed that he was the son of George Lassells from the 1850 Census records received from Robert Pratt, Jr., Town Historian, Orwell, NY. We do not yet have copies of the 1850 Census.
  Note: From information gleaned from obituary of Elmer Ellsworth Lassells, it indicates that Oliver Lassells had 8 children - to date we have only found out about 7 children.
