  Emigration: Christian Fredrick Schroder and Wilhemina Wedermier were married in Bremerhaven Germany in 1862. Bremerhaven was just a dock not a city in the early 1800's, and the port for Bremen. People would have to wait for Sailing Ships to take them to South America or the United States, because of this the Auswanderhause (wanderers house) was built in 1849 and used util 1865. Christian and Wilhemina probably spent their honeymoon there wanting for a sailing ship to take them to the United States.
