 "The Shelbyville Republican," (Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN) August 3, 1925 (page 1) "John G. Wilson, aged resident of Waldron, died this morning at eight-thirty o'clock. Death was caused from paralysis. Mr. Wilson had been an invalid for the past eight years. He was eighty-three years of age."
  "The deceased was a retired farmer, having resided in Liberty township, this county, for many years. He was a member of the Waldron M. E. church. He moved to Waldron twenty years ago."
  "Besides the widow, Mrs. Roxie Wilson, he is survived by a brother (sic--son), Henry of Waldron, and sister (sic--daughter), Mrs. Alberta Markland, of Fairland. Also one grandchild and two great grandchildren survive."
  "Funeral services will be held at the late home Wednesday morning at ten-thirty o'clock, the Rev. R. O. Pearson officiating. Interment will be made in the Vienna cemetery, Charles M. Ewing in charge."
