Wilson, age 61, well-known resident of the Waldron community, occurred at 5:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Major hospital. Death was due to a complication of diseases. The body was taken to the home of his son, Clyde Wilson, 116 Van Avenue where friends may call until 5:30 o'clock Tuesday morning (sic--evening?). Funeral services will be held at the Vienna church east of Shelbyville, in charge of R. O. Pearson of Waldron. Interment will be in the Vienna cemetery in charge of Charles M. Ewing." "Mr. Wilson was born in Liberty township, this county, February 29, 1864, and was the son of John G. & Roxie Ensminger Wilson. He had lived in the Waldron community practically all of his life and was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends." "Surviving Mr. Wilson, besides his son, are his aged mother, Mrs. Roxie Wilson of Fairland, one sister, Mrs. Elbert Markland of Fairland, and two grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death several years ago."
