 "Shelbyville Republican," (Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN) April 11, 1936 (page 1) FORMER LOCAL WOMAN KILLED AT DAYTON, OHIO Mrs. Delilah Hayworth, 54 (SIC--64), Is Struck by Train; Has Daughter Living Here
  "Mrs. Delilah Hayworth, 54 (sic--64) years old, of Dayton, Ohio, who lived in Shelbyville until 1923, was instantly killed at a Dayton railroad crossing when a passenger train struck her while she was returning to her home following a Good Friday service."
  "The accident was said to have taken place at about 3:24 o'clock yesterday afternoon."
  "Relatives here were notified by telegraph shortly after the death."
  "A sister, Miss Katherine Ensminger, 913 Elm street, left for Dayton immediately, but a daughter, Mrs. Grace Lewis, 213 Howard street, was unable to go."
  "Funeral services will be held at the Trinity M.E. church in Dayton, of which she was a member. Local services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Elm street address. Burial will be in the Vienna cemetery, which is located on the Shelby-Rush county line."

  "Survivors are the husband, A. D. Hayworth, who was engaged in the transfer business in Dayton and who was a former deputy recorder of Shelby county; three daughters, Mrs. Lewis, Miss Jean Hayworth of Indianapolis, and Miss Katherine Hayworth of Dayton, Ohio, a son, Max Hayworth, also of Dayton; three sisters, Miss Katherine Ensminger, a teacher in the Shelbyville junior high school, Mrs. Grace Jones of Union township, and Mrs. Anna Schuler, of Indianapolis, and a brother, John Ensminger, of Waldron."
  "Mrs. Hayworth was born in Shelby county and was educated here. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Ensminger. After teaching school in several schools of the county for several years, she was married to Mr. Hayworth, who, at that time, was a school teacher. He later served as a deputy county recorder. They moved to Dayton thirteen years ago. Mr. Hayworth was engaged in the transfer business."
