 "The Shelby Democrat," (Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN) December 9, 1880 (page 3) "A four-year old daughter (Compiler's Note--should be a three-year old son) of Mrs. Ensminger, widow of the late Julian Ensminger, of Liberty township, died Thursday evening at eight o'clock, of diptheria, and was buried Saturday morning at 9 o'clock."
