a. Note:   Christopher Pearce, Jr. worked as a Blacksmith. He served as a volunteer fireman in Jonesville, MI.
 At some point in time, the Pearces moved to Montcalm County, and lived there for some time. There are letters written from Pierson in Montcalm County, and several of the children were married there. Ellenora Elizabeth and Mary Adaline died in Montcalm. Sometime after 1876 it is believed Christopher, Jr. and Celestia moved to Jonesville in Hillsdale County where Christopher, Jr. worked as a blacksmith, and he served as a volunteer fireman. Christopher, Sr. and Marcy, and Christopher, Jr. and Celestia were all buried in the Jonesville Cemetery at Jonesville, Hillsdale County, Michigan. However, Christopher, Jr. died at his daughter's home in Columbus, Ohio at 3:45 am on 17 Dec 1898. Celestia died suddenly at the railway station in Lansing.
