 George Faust, born 1769, died Oct 5, 1852.
 Father of Thomas, Jonas, Aaron, George, Rheuben and a twin brother,unnamed (who died at birth, as did their mother, Mary). Daughters AnnaAmaentrout, Polly Ringer.
 He moved from Buck County PA to Butler County OH in 1816 and in 1825 moved to Mongomery County IN.
 Rheuben Faust, born Jan 1, 1817 in Butler Co. OH died at Darlington, IN June 6, 1899.
 Milton V. Faust, born 1862 in Montgomery Co. IN died July 1935 at Chicago, IL.
 Sarah A. Flanigan died Feb 5, 1931 at Seattle WA.
 Iva Alice Flanigan died Apr 16, 1935 at Seattle WA.

 Buck County vs. Berks County Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania has both a Bucks County and a Berks County. They are not far from each other, just north of Philadelphia. Many Fausts and Fousts are found in census records of Berks county, hordes of them; none in Bucks County. The reference to Bucks County may be correct but I’ve encountered no records that place him there. The clan of which George was a part settled in Northampton, Berks and Lehigh counties.
 Several sources indicate that George Faust was John George Faust. The book The Faust-Foust Family in America seems to bear that out.
