Note: Robert Smith Rehm, retired vice president of Bank of New Orleans, died Sunday of heart disease at Mercy+Baptist Medical Center. He was 70. Mr. Rehm was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for 36 years. He was a basketball letterman at St. Aloysius High School and Loyola University. He was a parishioner of St. Philip Neri Church and a former member of St. John Golf Club. He was a technical sergeant in the Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Merle Marks Rehm; two sons, Richard and Russell Rehm; a daughter, Constance Rehm; a brother, Daniel Rehm Jr.; a half-sister, Karen Deshotel of St. Louis; and five grandchildren. A Mass will be said Wednesday at 11 A.M. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will be today from 7 P.M. to 10 P.M. and Wednesday beginning at 10 A.M. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park.
