Hello again,
I got some info in the mail today. I sent for Grover's Social Security card application, on it he had to list his parents names with his mothers maiden name. He stated on the application that his father was Wesley Bogard Gibson, and his mother before marriage was Angline Colder. I have an uncle Wesley, this was Grovers son with his 2nd wife. Maybe Angeline had been married before to someone named Wilder? Also he did state 1892 as his birthdate, not 1886. He states Rome as the city and Floyd as the county of his birth. He made the application July 23, 1941 and he was age 48.
