Hi Renia
I came across your wonderful website, and of course have been scouring it, hoping to come up with links to the scant family info I have so far. Unfortunately I haven't managed to find the right people, but thought I'd send you a quick email on the off chance you have these people hiding in your database somewhere (I can only hope <grin>).

Many thanks for doing that. Sorry I haven't been back to you.......managed to catch a bad flu, so haven't been back on the computer for a bit. (the whole family managed to get a good dose :0( ) I've had a quick look, and it looks great. I'm not sure if the spelling has always been STANDLEY, but I do know that George (b. 1834 to Wm STANDLEY/STANLEY & Sarah PALLISTER) continued the spelling with a 'D'. The marriage I found on the IGI (from Bishops transcripts) of William & Sarah was STANLEY......but he seems to be in the 1837 trade directory as STANDLEY. I guess it's the same sort of thing with PALLISTER.
George STANDLEY (1861-1929) moved to Victoria, Australia between 1881 & 1888. He married & had a family there, before moving the whole family to Western Australia. He was a bootmaker like his father back in Leeds, Yorkshire, England, & his wife owned a Circulatory Library/bookshop. I'm afraid I haven't managed to trace the other lines yet.
I have added a couple of names today, but am still rather thin on info. Hopefully I'll be able to enlarge on it all soon.
Below is what I now have (I haven't included the 'living' generations....hope that's ok...I don't think the family would be too happy with me giving people their details). Do you know of anyone researching this line of PALLISTERS that would like to exchange info? (or was all the research your own?)
