a. Note:   Jane Parkison (as widow of John), Mary Parkison and Samuel
 Parkison and his wife Sarah Ann, sold their rights in , the
 west half of the north west quarter of section #2, in township
 #11, of range #9, Decatur County, IN. 74.58 acres. Jane's
 interest was her right of dower, Mary Parkison's was one
 seventh part of the land, Samuel Parkison's was five Sevenths
 parts in the land. The rights were sold to William Atchison
 for $900.00.
  Per Pat Sims Notes:
 Jane signed deed in 1842 and is assumed to be the 60-70 years
 old female living in Samuel's household in 1840. Name is Jane
 in deeds recorded in Decatur Co.,IN (Bk K, pg 97) and Warren
 Co, OH (Bk 10, p 274). Register of Communicants of Lebanon
 Presby. Ch. (OH) as recorded in Bull Hist &Phil Soc. of OH, Oct
 1956, pg 329-332, Cincinnati, lists John and Jennette
 Parkinson, June 2 1810.
