Note: From The Marshfield Mail October 24, 1912 Mission Home Section The heart felt sympathy of the community goes out to Jesse and Maud Muse in the death of their darling little baby, Laura C. age six weeks, who succumbed to a brief illness on last Saturday and was burried at Mission Sunday. The funeral was conducted by pastor N. H. Triplett and was an impressive one and full of so many comforting holy promises. Dear heart broken parents be like David of old and say " I shall go to to her," but she shall not return to me. Its only one more link to bind those that loved her most nearer to heaven. The text for this service was "Let not your hearts be troubled," and then "Have faith in Christ" The pall bearers were Fay Dugan, Hazel Greer, Esther Beckner, daisy McKnight, who carried the little snow white casket to the cemetery where th elittle body sweetly sleeps.
