a. Note:   ancelations. They left England on the Brilliant from Gravesent, London on 15 Jun 1820. On board were the Erith, Pringle and Gush division of the Sephton Party. At the time of departure they had 2 children Andrew born in 1816 and Mary Anne born 1819. Before depature,they must have lived in the Holborn area London as both Andrew and Marry Anne was christened there. Ezra was a Saddlemaker and when they arrived in South Africa thy settled in the Cradock area.
 The PRINGLE, RENNIE, SYDSERFF, RIDGARD lot all inter married and all the way through the names are found as per George John Rennie RIDGARD - his father was Ezra who came out to SA with Elizabeth RENNIE nee BROWN (and sister to PRINGLE's wife, Janet BROWN).

  In MD Nash's book "The Settler Handbook" Ezra 's occupation was gaiven as being a Saddler. He was born on 10 June 1790 at Holywell, Flintshire in Wales.and died May 21, 1866. in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
 and is buried in the Queenstown Cemetery.
 The following was found in the cemetery records of the Queenstown cemetry, Eastern Cape:- RIDGARD EZRA 1866 5 21 1790 76 HUSBAND TO E.
