Note: N1 George Lavis was born on December 16, 1876 in Chicago, Illinois to Josephine Lindberg (1858- ) and Robert Lavis (1844- ).
In 1910, he lived with his sister May and her husband Arthur Brigham in Brookfield Village near Chicago, Illinois. He had no occupation at that time.
About 1915, George moved to Ronan, Missoula, Montana with his wife and young children as well as perhaps one of Lillian's relatives (Harold Haegg was the informant on George's death certificate). He was a rancher.
He died at the age of 42 years on December 21, 1918 at his residence one-fourth mile south of Horte, Missoula county, Montana.
