Meyer -- I John M. Meyer of Danville Boyle County Kentucky, do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament First, I desire all my just debts and funeral expenses to be promptly paid. Second - I give and devise to my eldest daughter, Elizabeth wife of George G. Henderson, the sum of one thousand dollars to be her sole, individual and separate estate and to be free from the debts, liabilities or costs of any present or future husband she may have. Third - All the rest and residue of my estate of every kind and character, real, personal, and mixed and wherever situate I now give bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Fannie E. Meyer, so long as she may remain my widow, but on her remarriage, if same should ever occur then all my estate passing to her, under this will, and in whatever condition as to reinvestment or en...ment it may then be in to be divided into four equal share, one share to be retained by my wife as her own absolute sole and separate estate, one share to pass to my daughter Elizabeth, one share to my daughter, Mary Emily, and one to my son John Miller - The share passing to each of my daughters to be her sole and separate estate, free from the debts, liability or control of any husband either of them may have - If at the time of this distribution of same should ever occur, either of my said children should be dead, then the descendants of any child so deceased to represent the parent and take the share the ancestor would have taken if living. If any of said children should have died before said time, leaving no descendants surviving, then his or her share to pass to the surviving brother or sisters in equal parts and the descendants of any deceased brother or sister to represent the ancestor. Fourth: I direct my wife to pay to my daughter Mary Emily, on her marriage if same should ever occur, the sum of one thousand dollars to be her sole and separate estate, and upon the remarriage of my wife if same should ever occur, or at her death, thru the shares of said Elizabeth and Mary Emily to be changed with the sum of one thousand dollars, (but without interest) in said distribution provided said $1000, have been paid Mary Emily, and Elizabeth. Fifth - On the death of my wife (not having remarried) then all my estate passing to her under this will and any reinvestment and incresment of same to pass in equal portions to my said above named three children and the descendants of any deceased child to represent the ancestor and the portion going to my daughters to be their sole and separate estate as above provided. Sixth - I now appoint my beloved wife, Fannie sole executrix, without bond or security of any kind, of this will and with full and absolute power in her to sell and dispose of by warranty deed of any real estate of which I may die possessed, and she during her widowhood to have and possess full power to sell any property real or personal passing to her under this will, and to change the investments and to have full and absolute power so to do - All reinvestments of same however to pass under this will the same as the original estate. Seventh: My gold watch is to be given by my wife to my son John Miller, whenever she in her discretion thinks he is old enough to appreciate and take proper care of same. Witness my hand hereto signed this 27 day of August 1890. Signed by John M. Meyer John M.
