Groves, 81, of Mt. Ephraim, died of a heart attack at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at her home. A lifelong resident of Noble county, she was born Oct. 16, 1880, a daughter of Richard and Carrie Cox Cleary. Mrs. Groves was a member of Mt Ephraim Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Faye Groves of her home and Mrs. Mary Wehr of Quaker City and one son, Richard of the home. Her husband Rome, died March 5, 1954. The body was taken to the McVay funeral home, Caldwell, and was removed to the family home Wendsday. Services will be held in Mt Ephraim Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Wilbur Cash officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Ephraim cemetery.
