Cedar St., who died Sunday at the Indian Creek Nursing Center in Overland Park, Kans. Burial was in the Belton Cemetery. The Rev. D. Maynard Bowen officiated. Mrs. Eve Schmidt was organist for the services. Mr. Young was born and reared in Belton and had lived in Chicago for 30 years before returning to Belton 18 years ago. He was a retired construction contractor. Mr. Young was a member of the Belton Masonic Lodge. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Young was a Presbyterian. Surviving is a son, Bruce Young, 10009 Hardy, Overland Park; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Barnes of the home, and four grandchildren. Casket bearers were J.
