He was a retired construction contractor. Mr. Young was a member of the Belton Masonic Lodge. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Young was a Presbyterian. Surviving is a son, Bruce Young, 10009 Hardy, Overland Park; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Barnes of the home, and four grandchildren. Casket bearers were J.
